On September 4th, we successfully held the first "Discover ELSA" presentation within the walls of our Lviv National University. Seeing such a number of interested new faces is a true inspiration for us!

On September 13th, we held an event that has already become a good tradition – "From Student to Lawyer".

This time, we gathered to talk about what truly matters to law students: how to find yourself in the legal field, where to begin your professional journey, and which steps can help turn your student years into a solid foundation for a future career.

Our speakers shared their personal experience, spoke about their professional paths and the realities of legal practice, and gave plenty of advice that will definitely come in handy for future lawyers.

Be better, be ELSA!

The Academic Activities area of ELSA Lviv organised a Legal Course on October 10–11 titled “Human Rights in the Digital Age: AI, IT and Legal Tech.”

During the two-day event, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of current legal challenges related to digital technologies. Particular attention was paid to personal data protection, copyright in the age of AI, and the legal regulation of the IT sector.

Through presentations by expert speakers, participants explored practical cases, current legal issues, and the role of emerging technologies in the legal profession.

We would like to thank all the speakers, participants, and organising team for their contribution to the success of the event.

On October 13, the Seminars and Conferences area organized a local institutional visit to the Lviv Territorial Office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

During the visit, participants had the opportunity to meet and speak with the Director of NABU, gaining valuable insights into the work of one of Ukraine’s key anti-corruption institutions.

The visit included a lecture on the establishment of anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine, the overall activities and responsibilities of NABU, and the specific work carried out by its Lviv Territorial Office.

Participants learned more about the institution’s role in combating corruption, its main areas of activity, and its importance in strengthening the rule of law and ensuring accountability in public service.
